Diana’s POV
The hesitation on his face disappeared. We immediately took hold of each other’s faces and started kissing passionately. In the process, I ended up sitting on top of him as he sat upright. His hands went to my back while my own were sweeping over his neck, removing his robe from his shoulders.
He broke our kiss for a second, panting.
“Wait. What about our friend’s deal? Are you…okay with it now?”
I smiled, cupping his adorable, gentlemanly face. Even at this moment, he’s thinking about my feelings. He always does. He knew how hard it was for me to be with other men after Charles. It’s the reason why he always holds back—to adhere to my timing. I knew that. That’s what I love about him.
