“I don’t know.” For the first time, Vero felt uncertainty. Usually, she didn’t think too much about everything that had happened in her life. She acted according to her will and didn’t worry too much about the consequences she would face.
But this time was different. She feared that a wrong answer would make her lose Lev. Even though they didn’t officially belong to each other, her feelings already ran this deep.
