Chapter 153. Too Late

Blue trailed behind Clinton to welcome Christian. It was morning and he had just returned from work. They approached him, and without being told, Blue took the handbag from him with a bow alongside Clinton.

“Where’s Ari?”he asked, walking upstairs as he loosened his tie.

“I don’t think ma’am would want to see you,”Clinton said, trailing behind him.

Christian halted in his track and turned to him,

“Why? Is something wrong?”,

“She’s too pissed to see you”, Blue replied not looking at him,

“Why is she pissed?”,

“Because you stood her up”, Clinton replied,

“I did?”,

“She waited all night”, Blue added,

“Made three different kinds of dishes”, Clinton added,

“For you”, Blue completed,

“Spend lots of hours and effort to make the dishes”,

“Only for you not to show up”,

“Waited for you”,

“All beautifully dressed up with nice perfume all over her”,

“But you didn’t come home”,

“She got worried
