Chapter 87. Confusion and Clarity

Clarisse rushed into Suzanne’s office, startling her and making her worry something had happened.

“What happened Miss Clarisse?”, she asked worriedly,

“I’m here”, she answered, panting but confused Suzanne, who shot her a confused look.

Seeing her expression she said,”I was told that you were looking for me”,

“No, I wasn’t”,

“Huh?”,

“I wasn’t looking for you”,

“B.but”, she looked so confused,

“It wasn’t me who was looking for you, it was Mr. Christian, your husband”,

“But I saw him, and he said you were looking for me.”

Suzanne giggled,”I have no idea what you’re talking about, but it was Mr. Christian who was looking for you.”

Clarisse was baffled. She thanked and apologized to Suzanne before walking back to her department, wondering why he lied that it was Mrs Suzanne who was looking for her, and he even made it sound so serious and have her run down here.
