Chapter 50. I’m Not Giving up Bacon

Amelie’s POV

The alarm went off at 8 am. I woke up and rolled over to the vision of Tiff drooling on her pillow. I got up and headed for the bathroom. I’ll let her sleep in while I take a shower. I showered, shaved, and applied lotion. Once I was done in the bathroom, I searched through the closet for a nice-looking dress. I settled on a beautiful copper-colored princess-cut midi dress. I matched it with some simple tan high heels and a matching purse.

When I was finished in the closet, I came out into the bedroom and noticed Tiff was up and, by the sounds of things, was in the shower. Tiff came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel, and headed straight for her bag.

“Tiff, I want you to choose a dress from my closet,” I offered.

“You’re kidding, right?” Tiff responded. “Those dresses cost more than my rent.”
