Chapter 42

I was shocked and relieved to see Nick as he pounced on Peaches.

He was hugging me tightly as if he will never let me go. 

After six long years, I have waited for this moment to be hugged by him. I had given all my hopes up and he came to save me. I started crying hysterically. While I snuggled deep into him. He held me tightly. I could feel his salty tears falling down his cheeks. 

“Shhh! It’s okay Rio, I am here. Nothing will happen you are safe.” Nick was crying and whispering in Rio’s ear. He let her cry and held her for a while.

 “My, my, what a touching scene. Now both of you will die together. If I can’t have her neither can you Nick.” Jerry screamed.

 Nick looked up and saw Jerry was up and so was Peaches and Jerry was pointing a gun at them. People were exclaiming loudly as they scattered around, in fear of getting shot. Nick was raging with fury. He looked around and saw Harold standing behind Peaches, so Nick put Rio aside
