Chapter 12. Disruption

Matthew stood up from his chair, walked around the desk, and grabbed a stack of documents, placing them in front of Flora. She hesitantly reached out to take them, hugging them to her chest.

Then, he stepped closer, and she stepped back until she was backed up against the wall.

“Are you done talking?”

Flora’s face turned red.

Even though she didn’t have any unusual thoughts, being pressed by such a handsome face, looking at her intently, she couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. Her normal voice suddenly became stuttering.
