Edrik replied shortly, without even glancing at Sherena sitting beside him.
He didn't want Sherena to know about his plans, as it was all for the sake of the world's safety and well-being.
Sherena sighed deeply. "I don't know what you're planning, Edrik. But I'll never forgive you if it compromises my dignity and self-worth."
"I'll never compromise anyone's dignity. We're going to a salon and boutique, not a culinary tour."
He parked his car in front of a boutique that also had a beauty salon.
"Dignity, not doughnuts, oh my... your humor is so dry," Sherena sneered before getting out of the car and following Edrik, who had already left.
