Mel looked Maya, with worry flashing through her eyes, she relayed everything the doctor had said about Maya's condition to her and what she needed to do to recover fully.

After Mel finished talking Maya nodded her head as she spoke. "It's fine, I will try out more hospitals around and see if it's possible to get treated around here " She suggested.

"I won't let you do that, just travel outside the country and get treated, I want you to get better as soon as possible" Mel insisted, even though she knew it would be difficult to be separated from Maya by distance for a while she knew it was something that needed to be done if at all she wanted Maya's recovery. "You're trying to push me away, are you planning something with that CEO of yours behind my back? " Maya teased in reply. "You're getting worse by the day with your abnormal imaginations," Mel said feeling frustrated, she was trying to take her mind off Ethan but Maya was not helping at all.
