Caroline’s POV

I haven’t accomplished anything since what happened to us on the beach. Andrius and I did nothing but wreak havoc on ourselves in that place. Fortunately, despite knowing what had transpired to Andrius and me, Aiza was not upset with me for what I did. She believed it was still a good opportunity to turn them in our hands. Aiza also wishes exact vengeance on Andrius’ mother. I’m not against anything she does, but I feel like I’ve become a burden to her because I’m no longer helping her, which seems OK with her because she trusts me.

Aiza and I haven’t made any plans since a month ago. Until now, we had just sat here wondering what we should do next. I haven’t seen Andrius in a month, and I suppose that’s exactly what I need because he already knows what my true goal with the two of them is.
