Chapter 99

Lyra was driving when she received a call from Tia. She picked it up before placing the call on speaker

"He proposed!" She screamed before Lyra could even say hello. Tia was super excited that she couldn't help it

"Ahhhhh!!!" Lyra screamed. That was one good news she has been longing to hear. She quickly parked her car by the side of the road

"Gezzzz... Tia, I'm so happy for you!" She exclaimed. She wanted to jump and shout at the top of her lung from happiness

"Congratulations," she said to Tia who kept laughing and giving Lyra the gist of how everything happened. Lyra continued to drive as she listened to Tia's gossip

"I can't wait for you to come home so I just have to start the story from now till you get home. Where are you already?" She asked, so eager to explain how everything happened to Lyra face to face.

Lyra looked at the time, it was 4:30 pm. She said to Tia

"Actually, I'm not coming home just yet. I still have to see Bruce today
