Elysia's POV

"Still you have to go back." 

I could see the fear in my parents eyes as they stared at the documents in disbelief. I can't help but wonder why they feared the Contreras, frankly speaking, I'm begining to worry about the kind of family I married into. 

What was Elysia's pain? 

I want to connect badly but I always find myself holding back but just when it seems everything is about to be okay there is always something else popping making me feel like I was so far from the truth and sincerely, I am terrified.

"I think it's best I remain here till I figure it all out, and especially Becca's death." I said to them and instantly their face turned grim. It caught me off guard. 

My parents were staring at themselves as though a secret of theirs have just been found out.

"Why are you both staring at each other that way?" I asked but my mother scoffed then slowly her lips curve into a pretension smile that made my skin
