Adele couldn't understand Jamal's sudden change in behaviour towards her. Ever since they lost their child, he had been treating her like she meant the world to him. Like she was the only person who mattered to him and that freaked her out a great deal.

She had already made peace with the fact that he did not love or care about her and now that he was acting so differently, it scared her because she did not know what to think or how to handle the situation.
