Chapter 90. Pregnancy Hormones
One week later.
It had been a week since then, and Lucien could say that through that one week, the couple took good care of him. They gave him warm meals, clean clothes, and a room to rest in, but they never allowed him to step outside. Every time he asked why, they would smile politely or change the subject.
Lucien sighed for the twentieth time that evening as he leaned on the window, staring at the street outside. The curtains swayed slightly with the night breeze, but his eyes held no light.
Zayn hadn’t been picking his calls for this same one week, and Lucien couldn’t help but feel anxious. He wished he could go back to the mansion himself, but being locked all his life, he didn’t even know the direction of the market, let alone how to find the mansion.
