Orion’s POV

Orion could feel the shift in the air the moment the word ‘weaver’ left his lips.

He resisted the urge to smile, but internally, he nodded.

“Good,” he said to himself, “That got the reaction I wanted.”

Elder Lance froze, the color draining from his face as both shock and fear flickered through his gaze. For a moment, it felt like Orion had just uttered a curse to him. The forest around them grew stiller than ever as his aura changed, becoming more condensed until not even a cricket could chirp.

“How do you know that?” Lance asked, no, demanded, his voice cracking under the weight of his own immense disbelief. His gaze darted towards Orion’s face, searching for a flicker of jest, or perhaps an indication that all of this was some sort of test.
