Chapter 179. Aria’s Death?
The courtyard froze as Lucien’s words reverberated around once again.
Elder Lance’s face grew pale, his lips trembled as he spat blood, “Even if you win boy, do you really think this is going to end well for you?” he asked, gritting his teeth, “Do you think the council is going to stay on the sidelines and watch while you kill off an elder?”
“Who said I was going to kill you?” Lucien asked, his brows furrowed as a faint smirk tugged at his lips, “No, I’m not killing you, Lance. I’m just going to make you regret ever coming here, and if the council does that too, then, I’ll make sure they regret it too.”
The air around them was thick with dominance and fury, the scent of sweat, blood and fear filled the air.
Lance smiled, “You are making a big mistake,” he said, his voice almost pleading, “You are going to regret this.”
