Chapter 45. The Feeling of Wanting a Mate

Khalid’s POV

Sitting in my office chair going through some files on my desk, I heard a faint knock at the door.

I sighed and ignored it, despite trapping my mate in the room I still miss her.

She might be troublesome but I am still smitten around her, I just can’t help that I am attracted to and in love with her.

I wanted to do it fast and go back to her, I know that she must be grumpy and ready to bite off my head if I could mistakenly enter that room but I want to see her.

Knock. Knock.

The sound at the door continued, it was disturbing to the ear so I did the only thing to end it.

“Come in,” I promptly blurted.

I felt the door slide open before a familiar voice said through the door end.

“My prince, the king requests your presence,” I turned around to be met with Amon who had his head cast down submissively.

I stared at him blankly for a while before muttering, “Will be there with you in a while.”
