Khalid’s POV

I was dressing up when a message popped on the screen of my phone, still buttoning my shirt. I stared at it before striding to the nightstand where I kept it.

Picking up, I unlocked my phone, and the message popped out.

Clicking on it, my nose pinched up before my eyebrow deepened in nosiness.

“Hey, buddy, we saw online a video of your mate, Davis, and two guys driving down to Texas.”

“Texas,” lifting my gaze, I muffled.

Did she go that far just to avoid me?

I quickly dialed Drago’s number, and he picked up the second ring.

“Hey!, Buddy, I guess that you got the message,” he said from the other end.

“Yeah! I even saw the video, trace down those guys,” I authorized.

“Why! Is it better that we go down to Texas than waste more time?” He suggested.

“We don’t know the particular place in Texas and that’s why we need those guys and get them now!!” I screeched.

“Fine! On it,” he said before I ended
