Chapter 77. Marked by Him

Serena opened her eyes to multiple faces. She could barely recognize.

“Good morning, your Majesty.” She had them echo. They were waiting for her to wake up.

With furrowed brows, Serena sat up on the bed. She slept in the king’s room and can’t remember inviting the ladies to the room. What are you doing here? Who are you? Serena questioned, staring around the room. They were about seven ladies in the room, all smiling at her.

"Your Majesty, we came at the king’s order. He has ordered us to prepare you for the ceremony." A red-haired lady replied to her.

“What ceremony is that?” Serena asked, looking very confused.

It’s been a whole week since Aurora and her father were killed. Things have been going smoothly since then, although she expected and anticipated her big day, where the king will officially announce her as his mate and will formally name her as his queen, she didn’t speak about it to him because she saw how busy he was in the last one
