Chapter 42. Maybe
Lucy did not mind his twisted words. Since he had mentioned the airport, he would take her there, surely. Now, things were beginning to fall back into place. She couldn’t be more happy.
When they came out of the office, the hallway was empty. There was no sight of the securities or that woman.
Greg increased his pace and she had to jog along to keep up with his large strides. Then, the stopped in front of an elevator at the end of the hallway.
He punched in the keys, while his grip tightened on her and they got inside immediately the door opened.
Lucy found out it was his own private elevator as it took them down directly to the parking lot.
Among the wide range of cars at the underground parking lot, when he took out his car keys and pressed on it, one car lit up ahead of them.
