Chapter 149. You Are Good for Nothing
“So rude,” the woman frowned, adjusting herself as she followed them.
How could she give up when her daughter was better for Sebastian than Madison?
“Look, she used to steal food in the garbage,” She yelled after them.
Madison paused, and a tear fell from her eyes when she recalled those moments.
It was indeed the garbage, but her stepmother would make her feel as if she stole gold and punish her by letting her do all the chores maids were paid to do.
Most times, Madison would sleep in the attic, but Sebastian’s response left the woman in a stupor, filling Madison’s eyes with joyful tears.
“But now, she’s rich enough to take care of me. In fact, I’m living off her,” Sebastian turned around and said, catching the awful expression on the faces of the mother and daughter.
As expected, the woman was so enraged that she wanted to get physical like she used to do, assaulting and injuring Madison.
“What a shame. You are good for nothing.”
