Chapter 35. Zora. It’s You!

Lake pressed his palm against Ezrah’s forehead, expecting to feel warmth, but it turned out cold. “I thought you had a fever, but you seem fine to me. I saw Zora only on your wedding day, but I doubt she’s the one there.”

He thought Ezrah had gotten over Zora, but it did not seem so. Lake wondered what about Michelle got Ezrah so worked up. His behavior tonight was abnormal, but Ezrah was not one to cause a scene. It would be absurd for his matter to be on the lips of the media.

The more Ezrah saw Michelle, the stronger his conviction grew. Her hand gestures, smile, dentition, and so on. This was a woman he shared the same bed with for three good years, so how could he not recognize her? Or was it her ghost?

“You said it yourself that there was something fishy about the accident,” Ezrah reminded Lake. Lake was losing his patience as he saw another celebrity about to take Michelle and Coco’s place.

“Can we discuss this later? There is limited time for this.” I
