The young man is bewildered by Brianna’s response that he can’t help but stare back at Charles Thompson for any divulgence as to why the small chick will mock him that way.

Reason being that he isn’t just any ordinary man and it’s either Brianna is being nonchalant by acting like she doesn’t know who he is or she is clearly trying to pass an information that Lucien isn’t one he can afford to provoke.

Seeing the look on his subordinate’s face, Charles laughs and pats him on the shoulder. "How can there be any reason for you to doubt your strength? It’s only unfortunate to them that they can’t recognize you, that’s why she can raise her voice and say such nonsense. Don’t worry, I’ll make them know who you are!"

He turns to Lucien and the Pearsons and sneers evilly. "Since the Pearsons have gone blind after losing their properties and everything they owned, why not you do me the favor and allow me to open your eyes to the identity of the man before you?
