A star is born

[Cassandra's POV]

It was a tough journey,

I thought I wouldn't make it this far,

But here I am;

It wasn't something I planned,

But I'm overwhelmed with joy

At the turn of events,

Who would have thought that

After all the struggles and the pain,

I'd alas be consoled with my own seed?

As I look at my bundle of joy,

I remember all I went through for its sake,

But all I can say is:

It was worth it.
