Chapter 77

Jeremy cursed himself as he rounded a corner. How could he let Dominic slip away? Although the initial shock of seeing his nemesis turn against his ally play a factor, he still believed he should not have been caught off guard. His only relief was that Dominic was still in the manor, evidenced by his strong scent.

Jeremy turned to another corner and entered a passageway with about a dozen doors on each side.

"Just how many people stay in this manor?" Jeremy grumbled under his breath as he passed the doors, his nose still tracing Dominic's scent. 

He paused as his ears perked up. He could still hear the war going on outside. He cupped his ear and listened carefully. From the sounds, it looked like the vampire army were reducing drastically. He could also hear the occasional grunts and cries of Ronald,Lawrence,The Whites. Thank goodness,they were still safe.

'Good job, everyone.' He smiled to himself.

He narrowed his eyes as the scent of Dominic became stro
