After having no more nails to pull out, Anna felt that she had done enough that day. She warned her that she would be back the next day, and that she was just getting started.

  Sarah's angry eyes made no difference to Anna, and neither did her tears. She closed the door after turning off the light, and there were already women in the kitchen. She approached one of them and told her what food was to be served to the prisoner.
