Chapter 107. Complications
I hated seeing Maia in so much pain, but I did not know what to do. The fact that she wanted me to trust this half-witch was easier said than done. The trust issues I had with witches grew a hundredfold after Tatiana.
"King Alpha, do I have your permission? I promise that all I will do is let her contractions subside a little so that she can rest and so that she will not go into labour now without my aunt." The girl named Trinna asked.
I looked at Maia who passed out from exhaustion, and then at Neal.
'Help me out, Neal. I don't know what to do,' I said through the mind link.
'We don't have much of an option, Lucius. Besides, Maia is in too much pain. If the doctor trusts her enough to have her request to join the pack approved, I think she should be good.' Neal replied.
I looked at Trinna and let out a sigh.
"Let me warn you. The moment something bad happens to her, you won't get to see another sunrise," I warned her.
