Act I. Scene V
CALE
There was hardly time for the queen to leave her side, and the prying eyes became more pervasive and obvious.
"You have come!" A cheerful and annoyingly familiar voice said in a too-loud tone "I thought I would ignore myself again, I felt very sad when I did not come to my birthday ball" the being who had blonde hair and blue eyes like the queen’s - grumbled.
"Your Highness" Cale bowed.
"No! Stop bowing, we’ve already talked about it" the crown prince smiled "You just came for my mother, didn’t you? She forced you?"
'Yes,' he wanted to answer but still forced a smile.
"I offered to escort the queen."
Henry snitched.
"Of course he did."
One of the Moreno’s eyebrows rose, but as fast as Henry’s gaze fell on the girls on the left - Cale’s breath ceased.
"No!" he said with one hand on the prince’s shoulder, but it was too late.
"Lady Johan!" The blond one smiled, "She’s in the corner, by any chance she hasn’t been in
