Chapter 52
Theme: Distraction
Ares stormed into the room without knocking or summoned. The rage that was coursing through his body is something beyond explanation. He felt like burning everything in his path.
In all his life, nothing or no one has fr ustrated him like Joy's attitude. She's a pain in his neck, and Zeus refuses to permit him to wage war.
He clenched his fist in anger. “Idiot old fool,” he thought in his mind. He doesn't even care whether Hera or any of Zeus's wives are reading his thoughts. “They would never learn until it's too late.”
Ares hated all of them. He felt like killing everyone in the room. He felt like banishing Zeus to Tartarus and taking control of Olympus.
He believed that Zeus was too stupid. “He couldn't even decide on his own,” Ares thought, eyeing Zeus from head to toe. His hatred for him was unquenched.
