Chapter 105. Unfortunate Incidence
"Jesus! You would kill us!" Bernard leaned over from the passenger's seat to grab the wheel as the car almost knocked down the young security guard that had run into the street from the gate, waving his hands uselessly. "Please, please, Marissa. My love, please stay calm. You can't afford to overstress yourself, please."
"Don't you dare tell me not to overstress myself! That was Emma! In an unknown car!" She started struggling anew, yet she wasn't able to unbuckle her seat belt as her hands were shaking so badly.
"Wrong choice of words" Bernard parked as best he could from his awkward angle, then laid his hand on hers to calm her. "Breath, Marissa, please, breathe." He brushed her hand aside to hurriedly unbuckle her seatbelt and opened her door for her. She stepped out and fell on the concrete.
"Shit!" Bernard shouted and quickly rushed out from his side of the car to help her up, but Marissa had stood up and ran to the security guard who was on the phone.
