Adora’s words hung in the air, every head turned in her direction.
“You did?” Wills asked.
Adora nodded, her eyes wide. “Yes, I did, at the hospital.
“You broke our secret code!” Mason yelled.
“I’m sorry. I had to. I was scared of injections and the nurse said I could talk about it with the godmother like Cinderella. I was only concerned about the plan, so I told godmother.” Adora explained.
The room was filled with silence for a second.
“Did any other person tell someone? Wills broke the silence.
They all said they didn’t. Amanda sighed deeply, exchanging glances with detective Wills.
“Why are we the only ones you are asking? Mr. Kenny’s wife could have informed another person, mummy texted her about the plan.” Tyler said.
“Nice one Tyler. You have a point.” Wills added.
“Have you spoken to her yet? she could clear me just from the texts, I bet she still has them.” Amanda asked
