Chapter 120
Like last time, I leaned towards him and searched for his mouth, blindly. Ivan reacted quickly; I didn’t even notice when he took the glass from my hands and put it on the table, without leaving me for a second. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his lap. I found the perfect spot perched on his legs, and once again we were one, in an embrace so close I could feel the furious beating of his heart in my own chest. I thought I was going to burst with joy, in the perfection of that moment.
