Chapter 54. Suspicions

“Oh…….um…….yes. I was just strolling and I decided to jog around. Silly me I should’ve come back for a change of clothes, but I was already so engrossed in my activity. I’ll go take a shower now, wanna join me?” She turned and went straight into the bathroom. I started to unbutton my clothes and when I was fully undressed, I went to the bathroom to join her. She was soaking in a bathtub, and I slid in and sat opposite her.

“I hope you enjoyed your run?”

She nodded and smiled weirdly. “Yes, yes it was so much fun. You should join me next time.”

I mind linked one of the guards to find out where she had gone to for her run and report to me as soon as possible. Something wasn’t adding up. First of all, she never engaged in recreational exercises. And how was it that she was behaving like she was happy that she did when I knew it was the one thing that she dreaded.
