POV: Leah Darkwood

Her face turned paperwhite the moment she saw who had just called her name. She had never seen him as furious as this.

She felt the hair at the back of her neck stand up as she stood still.

“W-what are you doing here?! Stop!” She stammered as she tried to stop Aeron from walking towards her.

“Stop doing such a stupid thing, Leah!” Aeron angrily snapped at her.

Her mouth went agape as she watched Aeron take the knife from her hands and throw it away. She watched him as he panicked, watching Tamara’s condition in front of him. Her blood instantly boiled.

“What the fuck are you doing?!” She equaled the same ferocity that her younger brother had, but he seemed like he was more engrossed in how to free Tamara from the silver chains — regardless of whether he got burned from it.
