Felix refused to let go of Mercedes. He had been trying to spend some intimate time with his wife, but both their kids were making it impossible for them. Mercedes was always exhausted after handling them and getting them to sleep. Of course, he helped out, but things were not that easy. Horace would make a fuss not wanting to go to bed early and Celine would be crying wanting her mother to cuddle her to sleep. A moment of peace in the house became a luxury.

Now that they had the chance, Felix wanted to make the most of it.

“No Felix. Just let me sleep. Your children will wake up at any moment now, and you know how they will get. If I don't eat now, I won't ever get to rest.”

“Please, my love. Just for a little while. It's been a while since you touched me. I feel like a celibate monk now, come on,” he whined playfully, making Mercedes laugh.

“Stop being a
