“I won’t hold you back,” he said and took a few spoons of his meal.

“You think it was easy for me to put all of this together. Do you think being a leader is everything about smiling and greeting everyone? Let me tell you, it’s a lot more than that. And I would never let that position fall into your hands!” I said and he looked at me with a straight face.

“I don’t understand whatever you are trying to say but trust me, I don’t know about your struggle and I don’t want to know it because I don’t want to fit in your shoes,” he said and I laughed.

“Stop the pretense and the disguise. I already know about everything with the elders. They want it in place of me and I get it!” I said and he laughed again.
