Diane’s POV

“I… sir… please… I… I… love.. my… work here… ma’am. Miss CEO… I didn’t mean… I swear… I didn’t mean anything. I am so sorry… I won’t do that again.. I won’t… I swear… I won’t try it ever again… ever again in my life,” Betty said, stammering.

Callum looked at the manager, “Remember to send me the resume and make sure it gets to me before tomorrow. And I don’t want to repeat myself next time. I am so late for my meeting. Diane, are you ready?” he said and I looked at Betty who was crying bitterly.

“Yes!” I said and walked up to him.

“Let’s go!” he said and we turned and walked out of the building and straight to the car.

We got into the car and I could not hold my laughter anymore. Even though Callum wasn’t laughing out loud, I could see his smiles.
