Diane’s POV

We got home not too late after I ran Richard through the development, I hoped to see the Alpha but they notified me that he was still busy. I knew his work as an Alpha was not as simple as I thought but somehow, my heart skipped a beat and I felt abandoned.

I felt he might be avoiding me or something of such but I can’t just be unreasonable at a time like this!

He is a ruler and a CEO, I shouldn’t get used to seeing him stick up for me, he is probably too busy with very serious things.
