Chapter 114

BELLA

Tears welled my eyes as they narrated everything to me. My coven sank with the death of my mother. The men the council sent were thorough with the jobs. They laid to waste my father's pack and my mother's coven, leaving no stone unturned. I was the only survivor. 

“It was the same with our parents,” Blue said, taking my hand in his. He placed a kiss on it, silently sending his condolences for the death of my loved ones. “Had my father not been a Lycan, and my mother the queen of vampires, there would have been more than a bloodbath. Those bastards have killed us.”

My heart twisted at the thought of that happening to my lovers. Had they been executed like they should have, because of the taboo relationship between their parents, I wouldn't have met them. Neither would I have felt the warmth of their touches. 

“We will help you get revenge,” Fred vowed, staring into my eyes with a resolute gaze. “I promise you that.”
