The Lycan king Hector had met with some Alphas of packs about the signing of a treaty but the meeting was adjourned to a later date. On the way, the car developed a technical fault and all Samuel did to get it to start again was fruitless.

Hector was already tired from the arguments at the meeting and stress due to the sleepless nights he’d had recently. He had not been sleeping properly, especially with his father troubling him to come visit him.
