Chapter 73. Welcome Back!

Alexa opened her eyes and the first person she saw was Wayne.

“Where am I?” she asked, looking around. Then her eyes fell on Dr. Arnold. “You!” she said. “I remember now!”

“Alexa, thank goodness, you are back!” Wayne said, “Doctor!” he called.

The doctor came and checked on Alexa. “Do you feel pain anywhere? On your head?”

“No!” she replied.

The doctor pressed down the skin below her eye to better look into them. “You can see things clearly, I assume?” he asked.

“Yes!”

“And you can remember everything?” he asked just to be sure.

“What’s your name?”

“Alexa Palmer!”

“How old are you?” the doctor persisted.

“Doctor, this is ridiculous!” she said, looking at him in exasperation. “I am fine now and in fact, I feel very strong. Stronger than ever before!” she said, stretching.
