Crown Prince Jasper’s POV

The house was pitch dark when I stepped in, dead tired.

Herthia must have made it home by this late hour. The women left straight after working hours today. With Andric and Eugenie absent, Herthia was in my office more often around me, much to Yin's delight.

Herthia and Rami got along well, and to be frank, this new secretary was a valuable asset. When Herthia introduced her to me, I noticed that she seamlessly fit in with us as if she were one with us. But of course, that's just an idea of mine, the woman is entirely human and bears no connection to werewolves whatsoever.

I poured myself a glass of whiskey and took it to the terrace.

The villa was wonderfully positioned, the overview of the city was breathtaking, especially at night. This is a million-dollar view, enough to alleviate any worries from the day. But just like every night when I come home, my mind always thinks back to my mate.
