Caliana’s POV

”You disappoint me, Caliana,” I turned to the gruff voice, I swallowed thickly and backed away from him, his eyes were gold as he approached and before I knew it, my legs were already in the pond.

”What do you mean,” I asked, my legs were getting cold but I didn’t want to leave. His aura was calm. He sat on the bench.

”You have been here for a few months now and never have I seen this fear in your eyes, not even the day you got here,” He said.

”I’m not- scared- of you,” I stuttered.

”Then why are you standing in the pond when it’s this cold?” He asked me. He stood up and walked to me, he extended his hand to me but I shook my head. He looked nervous now, and he sighed, running his hand through my fingers, he was FUCKING gorgeous.

”Did you watch as rogues kill her?”

”Who?”

”Jane Anne,”

”Who told you about her?”

”It doesn’t matter,” I retorted. “ Did you do all those things to her and her pack?”
