I was staring at the priestess as she tended to my injury, my inner Lycan would have healed it but he liked the way she was treating it.

”Marcus, what were you doing in these areas again, you know it’s not your territory, right?” She frowned in a way that made her so cute and I purred. I FUCKING purred. I was embarrassed. Selena laughed and again, the sound of her laughter made my heart flutter with unfamiliar feelings.
