Lucas came to a sudden halt in front of his bedroom door and spun around, his eyes blazing with intensity. Amy caught off guard, stumbled to a stop, and almost collided with his chest, but she managed to steady herself just in time.

“What are you doing?” Lucas demanded, his voice sharp and accusing.

“What do you mean?” she asked innocently.

“Why are you following me?” he asked.

Amy crossed her arms, a smirk tugging at her lips. “You just ran off without making sure I was taken care of first! Where am I going to sleep?”
