"Dad, you're not collaborating with Fiona and this Thorne fellow to put on a show for us, are you?"

Vivian suddenly spoke up again, her face full of suspicion.

Given how much Lawrence Miller doted on Fiona, it wasn’t entirely impossible.

In fact, not only did Vivian have this thought, but other members of the Miller family did too.

But no one else would be foolish enough to voice it directly, knowing it would only infuriate Lawrence Miller. Only Vivian was completely oblivious to this.

"You foolish woman, shut up!"

The first to react was Arthur. His expression drastically changed, and he angrily yelled as he raised his hand, delivering a hard slap across her face.

The sharp sound echoed throughout the banquet hall. Arthur, in his rage, had not held back. The slap sent Vivian staggering, and one side of her face quickly swelled.
