Ford’s POV

To say I’m a little nervous is an understatement. Our pack has never come out to the werewolf community for hundreds of years. Our lives have always depended on our ability to blend in and hide, so the thought that we will come out of hiding—well, at least a few of us—is scaring the living daylight out of me.

My mind can’t seem to calm down. I know I shouldn’t be like this, but this is something we have never done before. The Supreme Elder has confirmed repeatedly this is needed, and it is something we have to do. However, in the back of my mind, I can’t help but worry.

I look out the plane’s window and sigh. Not only is it the first time we are going to reveal ourselves to the werewolf community, but it is also the first time I’ve been away from the pack for this long. As Beta of the pack, I can’t help but worry. I know we have left the pack in Mason’s capable hands along with Wyatt’s father
