When Clara informed me that Davis Elanzo wanted to meet, I didn’t think much of it at first. After all, Adrian had introduced him as a friend during our time in Italy, a suave and influential businessman with connections that seemed to reach across continents. Adrian had even described him as a potential ally for some of my initiatives, though their relationship always seemed a little too convenient for my liking.
