Chapter 22
Scarlett’s POV
I took in rows of neatly arranged training equipment in the large room. At the furthest wall from the entrance stood a wrestling ring with blue ropes. The walls were painted a sliver mist that complemented the black rubber flooring. Everything screamed masculinity, brutality and strength.
Huge glass transparent windows allowed for the natural light to stream in. I couldn’t help but find it odd that no single soul was in the room except Thiery and me. This was a pack full of gruesome warriors, I expected to find every equipment in use.
“You’re awfully quiet.” Thiery stood beside me, looking right ahead. Alpha Jaxon had pack business to attend to so he had Thiery bring me here. There was something naturally calming about Thiery. His presence warmed my heart in a different type of way. I couldn’t explain it but I assumed it was because he was the one who first believed that I was harmless.
