Chapter 27. I Love You
He didn't have to ask me to breathe again as I automatically started breathing hungrily. He took a step backward after a few minutes, but I clutched his shirt, pulled him towards me, and continued smelling him. My bliss ended when suddenly the scent was gone. I opened my eyes and tried to sniff him more but found nothing.
"Are you alright?" he asked me. I don't know why but tears welled up in my eyes, and my lower lip trembled.
"Where did the scent go?” I asked him like a two-year-old, but I have no shame in accepting that because I wanted to smell that scent. He looked at me with concentration for a few minutes and then slowly removed my hands from his shirt and took a step backward.
"Sorry, I should not have asked about something without knowing its effect," he apologized and again went towards the bench, "and sorry for the scent. I did the best I could think at that time," he said, and finally I understood what I
